Oceanology 2022 (15th to 17th March 2022) STREAM Waterford Inst. Tech. attendance.
OI Oceanology International 2022 was held at ExCel London, providing an opportunity for STREAM to meet, network and learn about various innovations in marine technology monitoring and data management.
This was a free-to-attended conference that gave a diverse and detailed overview of the available equipment and presented opportunities to speak with experts about the work they were doing. In addition at the Ocean Futures Theatre, there was a technical conference delivered by academics, technicians, engineers, and scientists.
There were also live in and on water monitoring demonstrations outside the conference centre at the dockside location. Viewing platforms offered attendees the experience to get to grips with the technology in real-time.
The key aspect of the STREAM attendance was to discuss the practical aspects of monitoring and broadcasting live data. Oceanology 2022 provided the occasion to meet with people, see new options for the STREAM project, talk to suppliers, and gather industry knowledge.
The STREAM project is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the Ireland Wales Programme.
